Benjamin Albertson
PARTNER / PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
Benjamin Albertson is a co-founder and partner at ARC Studio,
with over 20 years of architectural experience across a wide range of scales and project types. His work is rooted in a deep interest in innovative materials and unconventional construction methods, which continue to shape his design philosophy.
Much of Ben’s architectural foundation was built under the mentorship of two globally renowned architects—Fumihiko Maki (Maki and Associates) and Shigeru Ban (Shigeru Ban Architects). Their influence has been central to his design thinking and reinforced his commitment to creating architecture that is both enduring and timeless.
Ben earned a Master of Architecture from Yale University in 2005 and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in 2002, where he was honored as the top graduating student by the College of Architecture and Planning.
He is a licensed architect in Arkansas, California, Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wyoming, and holds certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
